I agree with Patrick, NATO needs all on board to resist Putin, hopefully he won't last much longer. But energy withdrawal from Russia will take time, as will a buildup of defense to 5%. Of course the Hungarians in trans Carpathia should be able to keep their language & culture.

Really enjoyed this! I think one of the biggest takeaways is that, while tanks, budgets, and equipment modernizations are a huge part of defence, building trust with other Member States and resilient institutions also matter in the long run.
Trump is doing the same with NATO, and other international compacts. The difference is Trump has none of Orban's finesse. IOn fact, he seems to think that Orban's finesse was his undoing.
