Your article is very clear. Agreements are important to maintain world peace. But…trump is a grifter that is only interested in beneficial transactions that benefit him and his family.

Thank you! You are right, he’s definitely a grifter. But so is Orbán, my point is they definitely learn a lot from each other. Orbán has stolen millions and millions from Europe and Hungary to enrich himself and his family.

I know it happened a day or so after the this post, but EU players [that count] along with Canada and Japan, decided that they really did not want to 'go it alone without the US'. So I am not sure things have changed that much. (And I agree there should be some major changes.)

Perhaps Samuel Johnson's quote alludes to it, when he said in 1777. "Depend upon it, Sir, when a man knows he is to be hanged in a fortnight, it concentrates his mind wonderfully." When Europe senses that Trump might actually cut off the $$ (think NATO, Ukraine, etc.), reality sets in rather quickly.
