This post is so interesting, hopeful and determined! I salute Hungary and her people, not for the first time and certainly not for the last. On a side note, this morning I also read (in the U.S.) the Sub Stack written by Adam Kinzinger. For anyone unfamiliar with him, Kinzinger was one of two (TWO!) Republicans who whole-heartedly participated in the congressional investigations and hearings that followed the January 6th, 2021 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C.. He was promptly and permanently jettisoned by the Republican Party. He now receives death threats to himself and his family.
Now, Kinzinger writes about the constant stream of grim and disturbing events coming out of the Trump administration. A few weeks ago, he decided to write about "good news" instead, every Sunday. Today his post was about all the positive information coming out of the new Hungarian government: GOOD NEWS! Exhausted Americans, I believe, are hopeful and receptive to this news. Because of this, I posted a comment recommending Peter Dosa's "The Hungary Report". Please keep the good news coming. Hungarians are becoming a real-world lifeline for us!
The process of any meaningful change involves dry-as-dust operations, that are best done in sequence, a little at a time, but in an unrelenting manner. It is like pulling weeds up by the roots, instead of saturating the soil with poison.
